Typical Tour Attire

Casual for all tours. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended.

Luggage

Guest luggage is stored on the motorcoach, which stays with them during their tour. We request that valuables not be left on board the coach, as we cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen items or fragile items that may be packed inside luggage. Carry passports, flight documents, medications, and cash with you.

Weather

Typically, the weather in South Florida is very nice during the fall months. It gets quite cool in January and February, then warms up with potential rain showers in late spring. Guests are requested to don a jacket during the cool months. All tours operate rain or shine. Should severe weather be forecast, La Mar Excursions, Inc will cancel specific affected tours for safety reasons. Shore excursions will be notified with as much advance notice as possible.

Flight Information for Most Tours

Tours are available for guests with domestic flights out of FLL after 2:30 pm and International flights after 3:30 pm, and Miami-departing guests with domestic flights after 3:30 pm or international flights after 4:30 pm. Typical arrival at the airports: FLL 1:00–1:30 pm and MIA 1:30 pm–2:00 pm. Arrivals are subject to traffic delays.
